A local woman says her company will provide free stickers to anyone who wants to cover the labels of a Vancouver-based candle company that came under fire after its co-owner sent a series of racist and threatening messages.

Vancouverites continue to express their anger, shock and sadness on social media toward Vancouver Candle co. former co-owner, Nick Rabuchin.

Last week, the Warner McDaniel Agency shared a series of screenshots in an Instagram post that they say contain conversations with Rabuchin of Vancouver Candle Co. The messages contain disturbing and hateful racist language.

Many people stated that if they want the price of their candles refunded, while others simply threw the product in the garbage.

Now, Sarah Robbin, founder of Numpfer, an organic baby essentials company, says that she will provide anyone with a Black Lives Matter sticker, completely free of charge. In an Instagram post, she writes that the stickers are three-by--three inches and just, "happen to fit perfectly over a Vancouver Candle Co. label."

Robbin adds that the company is also sending 40 of the stickers to Branch on Bowen , so that they can transform candles and give 100% of the proceeds to @blackvancouver.

In a recent post, Branch on Bowen writes on Instagram that, "In light of a post by @warnermcdanielagency we are selling all of our @vancouvercandleco stock. We’ve reduced the prices and will be donating 100% sales to @blackvancouver for their June 19th March fundraiser."

Robbin also notes that, "If you know of any other stores that may want to transform candles let me know."

A number of companies that Vancouver Candle Co. has worked with have responded in anger, sadness, and shock.

In addition, Nicolette Zoric, Rabuchin's former assistant, came forward to call out her former employer. In an Instagram post, she writes that she has seen first hand how, "sick this individual is and how he spent no time bad mouthing anyone who came upon him."

Now, Erin Sousa, founder and and principal at Sparkle Media Inc., says that she received "disturbing and anonymous text messages" that are from the same number the other two women received messages from. In addition, she notes that the women received the messages on the same date (Nov. 2, 2019).

Retail giant Chapters Indigo states that it will pull all of Vancouver Candle Company's products from its online site and stores.  A number of other retailers have done the same.
