Environment Canada releases long-weekend forecast for Vancouver

Environment Canada is calling for some toasty temperatures and bright sunshine across Metro Vancouver over the long weekend.

Starting on Friday, Sept. 5, the forecast calls for fog patches dissipating in the morning and a high of 24°C along the coast and 28°C inland. That said, these temperatures will feel more like 28°C and 31°C with humidity.

On Saturday, the forecast calls for a high of 22°C except 26°C inland. Sunday is expected to be hotter, with the forecast calling for a high of 24°C on the coast and 28°C inland.

Monday is expected to be the hottest day on the long weekend, with temperatures of 25°C expected along the coast and 30°C further inland. 

On Tuesday, temperatures are expected to cool down a couple of degrees, while Wednesday's forecast calls for the same toasty weather as Monday.
