[UPDATED] Fallen tree caused Millennium Line SkyTrain disruptions

Wednesday's windstorm is continuing to have an impact on the region, as a fallen tree is the culprit behind service disruptions on the SkyTrain's Millennium Line.

UPDATE 2:27 PM: TransLink reports that the tree has been safely removed and Millennium Line service has been restored.


Wednesday's windstorm is continuing to have an impact on the region, as a fallen tree is the culprit behind service disruptions on the SkyTrain's Millennium Line.

According to TransLink, there is currently no SkyTrain service between Burquitlam Station and Coquitlam Central Station.

Crews have been dispatched to the scene to remove the tree.

Coast Mountain Bus Company (CMBC) is in the process of setting up a bus bridge in both directions. Transit Supervisors and Transit Security are being dispatched to the impacted stations

Expo and Canada Lines are unaffected, and are running normally, adds TransLink.
