We reported on Friday about a double shooting inside a home on Industrial Ave near Science World.
VPD sent out a notice today saying that they've arrested a 37-year-old resident of Surrey in the incident, which they are calling a "targeted double shooting".
Carleton Stevens was arrested last night in Surrey and charged with attempted murder as well as possession of ammunition or firearm contrary to a prohibition order. Police expect more charges to be laid as they continue their investigation.
The woman shot in the incident is still in hospital in serious but stable condition, the man shot is recovering.
