Is this a joke? Vancouver forecast calling for 'wet flurries' tomorrow

While it is the first day of April, the Lower Mainland forecast calls for some decidedly brisk evening lows and the possiblity of snow. 

Starting on Wednesday, April 1, Environment Canada calls for wet flurries or rain showers during the day. In fact, the forecast even include the chance of local snowfall amounts of two to four centimetres. Following this, the evening is expected to be cloudy with a low of 1°C.

On Thursday, the forecast calls for a 60 per cent chance of showers during the day. However, higher elevations will see a 60 per cent chance of wet flurries. Friday's forecast also calls for a 60 per cent chance of showers, while the evening is expected to be cloudy.

Saturday is expected to see periods of rain duing the day, while Sunday's forecast calls for a chance of showers throughout the day. Monday's forecast calls for a mix of sun and cloud.

Over in Chilliwack, Environment Canada calls for rain showers or wet flurries to kick off the month. While Wednesday evening's forecast is expected to be dry, Thursday morning's forecast includes a 60 per cent chance of showers or flurries; the evening is expected to see showers, as well. 

The rest of the week looks cool and wet in Chilliwack, with a couple breaks from the showers on Friday and Saturday nights. Monday is also expected to be cloudy throughout the day.
