Yesterday, news broke that 34-year-old Jon James McMurray had tragically lost his life while filming a stunt on the wing of a plane.
The rapper was shooting a music video in the Okanagan that involved him walking out onto the wing of a plane. When he did so, however, it tilted the plane into a downward spiral that the pilot could not correct.
Now, the rapper's family has created a GoFundMe page to celebrate his life as well as get his music out to the rest of the world.
"We lost Jon James McMurray yesterday. He touched and lifted so many people in his brief stay here," states the GoFundMe page.
"He also documented everything he did relentlessly. His close friends and family want to make something incredible with what fee left us. It’s what he would have wanted most of all."

In addition to rapping, Jon James was also known for being an amazing skier. In fact, he had been in the professional circuit before retiring due to injuries.
