Elsewhere in the region, schools in Burnaby, New Westminster, Richmond, Delta, Surrey, Langley, Coquitlam, Pitt Meadows-Maple Ridge, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, and Abbotsford are all OPEN.
Mission and Chilliwack school districts, however, remain closed Thursday.
Significant snowfall overnight Tuesday and into Wednesday turned Vancouver into a winter wonderland – leading to school closures across the region, traffic turmoil and transit troubles, with both TransLink and the provincial government advising residents to avoid all but essential travel.
This morning, TransLink is warning customers that service might still be slower than usual.
Service may be slower than normal today due to inclement weather. Please bundle up and allow extra travel time.
