Animal-lovers across BC unite as Scotiabank and the BC SPCA puts on one of the most eagerly anticipated fundraising events of the year. Scotiabank and BCSPA Paws for a Cause is not your average walk in the park; this pooch friendly party will have treats for humans and pups alike as well as entertainment for everyone - including kids! The event will raise much needed funds for your local BC SPCA branch who care for homeless, abused, and neglected animals.

Luckily for us canine-loving Vancouverites, the Flagship Walk happening on September 10th is right in our backyard at Lumberman's Arch in Stanley Park. The fundraising goal is $176,000 with all of the proceeds going towards the Burnaby, Vancouver and West Vancouver SPCA branches. Last year alone these branches cared for over 4,000 animals. The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization which is reliant on public donations. Their mission is to protect and enhance the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in B.C. This philanthropy is made possible by the generous donations of Scotiabank and BCSPA Paws for a Cause attendees and other donors.
