Protesters have blocked the intersection of Cambie and Broadway and traffic is unable to get through in any direction.

Vancouver Police have advised drivers to avoid the area and add that all of the roads in the surrounding area are grid-locked. However, no accidents have been reported at this time.

TransLink has also advised riders that, as of 3 p.m. on Feb. 11, a number of buses commuting down Broadway are experiencing delays up to 70 minutes due to the march at Cambie and Broadway.

Affected bus routes include the 99 UBC/Commercial-Broadway Station, 9 Alma/UBC/Commercial-Broadway/Boundary, 15 Cambie/Olympic Village Station, and 17 Oak/Downtown.

The protestors are supporting First Nations opponents to a natural gas pipeline in northern B.C.
