A video posted to Facebook
(shown below) is showing a human side of the VPD that we don't often see.
Constable Renan Cabrera sat and played a tune from La La Land as a crowd gathered around the public piano on the seawall near the south side of the Cambie Street bridge.
Speaking to CTV the officer said that "My original dream job was to be a film composer – so any opportunity to sit down and play the piano is a real treat for me."
The instrument he's playing was put there by Pianos on the Street, a public piano project that's been running since 2009.
