RCMP looking to identify Metro Vancouver bank robbery suspect

Police are calling on the public to help identify a man who is a suspect in a bank robbery that took place in Fleetwood earlier this month.

Surrey RCMP is calling on the public to help identify a man who is a suspect in a bank robbery that took place in Fleetwood earlier this month.

Police were called to the robbery, at a bank in the 15900-block of Fraser Highway, about 12 p.m. on Feb. 8.

Police said the male suspect entered the bank, told employees he had a weapon and demanded cash.

“A sum of cash was provided to the suspect, who subsequently fled,” police said in a release.

Surrey RCMP described the suspect as a black male, between 25 to 30 years old, approximately 6' tall, with a medium build.
