Update: Thursday, Jan. 16 at 5:16 p.m.: The SkyTrain track issue affecting the Expo Line has now been resolved and regular service is resuming.  There may be gaps and extended wait times while schedules resume.**

TransLink has announced that a track issue on the Expo Line is impacting SkyTrain service and causing delays in the downtown area.

The transportation agency notes that it is establishing a shuttle train service which will operate between Commercial-Broadway Station and Waterfront Station. As such, customers travelling in or out of the downtown area will need to disembark at Commercial-Broadway Station and switch trains in order to continue their journey.

Additional bus services are also being deployed to assist passengers.

The Canada Line and Millennium Line are unaffected and providing regular service.

Customers seeking alternative routes to SkyTrain can use the TransLink Trip Planner (http://tripplanning.translink.ca) online and select "Exclude SkyTrain" under advanced search settings.  Customers can also phone our customer information desk on 604-953-3333.
