Update: Friday, Jan. 17 at 11:43 a.m.: The track issue causing delays on Expo Line has been resolved and regular service is resuming. Customers should expect some gaps as normal service reforms.**

We apologize to our customers for this inconvenience and we thanks the media for sharing this information with our passengers.

TransLink has announced that a track issue on the Expo Line is impacting SkyTrain service and causing delays in the downtown area.

The transportation agency notes that it is establishing a shuttle train service which will operate between Stadium-Chinatown Station and Burrard Station. As such, customers travelling in or out of the downtown area will need to disembark at Stadium-Chinatown Station and switch trains in order to continue their journey.

There is currently no Expo Line service in or out of Waterfront Station.

Additional bus services are also being deployed to assist passengers.

The Canada Line and Millennium Line are unaffected and providing regular service.

Customers seeking alternative routes to SkyTrain can use the TransLink Trip Planner (http://tripplanning.translink.ca) online and select "Exclude SkyTrain" under advanced search settings.  Customers can also phone our customer information desk on 604-953-3333.
