Winter, it seems, still has a bit left in it for the Lower Mainland.
This morning early birds and risers found snow, the frozen, solid, crystallized form of water, had fallen from the sky and covered much of the ground.
While most forecasts didn't call for much of the white stuff falling on the city itself, it did indeed do that. Vancouverites snapped photos of proof, and here are some of those very photos.

It should be noted that the weather has meant Environment Canada has issued an alert for the Coquihalla between Hope and Merrit, for anyone headed into the interior today.
"Snow is expected to become heavy at times later this morning. Snowfall amounts near 30 cm can be expected by Friday morning," states the weather agency.
