Two men are wanted in the robbery that took place last month

Surrey RCMP have released images of a pair of suspects involved in the March 12 robbery of a bank in Whalley.

Just before 7 p.m. that day (a Friday) two unidentified men entered a bank in the 12800-block of 96 Avenue in the Surrey neighbourhood. One guarded the doorway of the bank while the other approached a teller.

Officers investigating the robbery have decided to release images and descriptions of the two men.

One individual is described as "a Black man, with black hair, wearing a white shirt, grey jeans, black mask and blue gloves."

The second is described as "a Black man, with black hair in dreadlocks, wearing a grey top, grey sweatpants, black mask, blue hat with a gold symbol on it, and blue latex gloves."

Surrey RCMP are asking for anyone with tips about the identity of the two men or the crime to call 604-599-0502 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
