The popular beach was closed to swimming July 27 due to high levels of E. coli in the water. The announcement comes one day after Vancouver Coastal Health announced that
Trout Lake is once again open to swimming and wading after a 13-day closure.

Sunset Beach and Trout Lake, as well as Ambleside Beach in West Vancouver and Snug Cove on Bowen Island, were all closed to swimming due to E. coli last month.

Snug Cove is the only body of water that remains closed out of that initial slew of advisories.
