This bonkers house is what $16.9 million will buy you in West Vancouver (VIDEO)

Gondola? Check. Heated driveway? Check. Massive chandelier? Check.

Up in the hills near Capilano Lake lies one of the newest, and most expensive, houses in Metro Vancouver.

The $16.9-million property at 1049 Millstream Rd. goes beyond the usual aspects of luxury. Sure, it's got six bedrooms and, for some reason, 11 bathrooms. And sure, it's got a home theatre, a fitness area and a three-car garage.

But then it goes so much further with things like a gondola to transport guests from the front entrance to the house, a heated driveway so clearing snow is never an issue and an elevator.

Oh, and there's the infinity pool outside with a jaw-dropping view of the city.

And a top-level fireside terrace with Cabana and a putting green.

Just entering the house sounds like an experience.

"Enter into an impressive grande marble reception area with handcrafted three-level circular staircase featuring a 32-foot crystal chandelier," writes real estate agent Malcolm Hasman on the YouTube video.

While some homes in Vancouver have an interesting history, this one doesn't as much. It's been on the market for 13 days after being built last year.
