Beginning April 22, several routes on TransLink’s bus network will be running earlier, later and more often.
Since 2017, a total of 285,000 bus service hours have been added to try and improve reliability and reduce overcrowding as part of the Mayors’ 10-Year Vision commitments. This spring, 17 routes will benefit from permanent increases and 12 routes will have seasonal changes as 8,000 services hours are added.
Three routes will see major permanent frequency increases during peak hours and on weekends to reduce wait times, including:

TransLink is increasing service during busy times on weekdays to reduce overcrowding.
- Monday to Friday
- Every 7-10 minutes from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m.
- Every 6-12 minutes from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Saturdays
- Every 30 minutes from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
312 Scott Road Station/Scottsdale

- Every 30 minutes from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
There will also be permanent improvementsto 14 other routes, including the 84, 116, 229, 250, 240, 257, 310, 182, 319, 321, 323, 335, 351, and 640 routes.
As seasonal demand for trips to post-secondary institutions decreases and demand for trips to ferry terminals, beaches and other tourist destinations increases, there will be an additional 12 seasonal changes including the 9, 19, 23, 28, 42, 125, 130, 150, 236, 258, 480, and 620.
