While Metro Vancouverites saw some wet snowfall across the region Monday, the next few days look decidedly sunny and clear in the region.
According to Environment Canada's most recent forecast, Tuesday through Thursday are expected to be sunny and bright, with only the possibility of a few clouds on Wednesday.
Daytime highs are expected to range between 3°C and 4°C. However, overnight lows will be more varied. On Tuesday, temperatures are expected to dip down to freezing, but Wednesday night's forecast calls for a frigid low of -2°C; Thursday's overnight low is expected to be 2°C.
On Christmas morning, Vancouverties will likely see showers followed by rain at night. However, Saturday's forecast calls for a colder overnight low, which brings the possibility of flurries.

On Monday, Dec. 22, Environment Canada meteorologist Armel Castellan told Vancouver Is Awesome in a phone interview that Vancouver isn't likely to see snow on the big day, despite seeing some accumulation of snow Monday.
Monday's snowy weather event was somewhat of an anomaly, and it isn't caused by arctic air. Instead, Castellan says it's a combination of heavy precipitation and a deepening Pacific low that made its way across Washington State.
