While it doesn't promise sunshine all week long, this week's Metro Vancouver weather forecast calls for some decidedly warm daily highs.

To start off the week, however, Environment Canada calls for periods of rain during the day and a high of 15°C with a 40 percent chance of showers at night on Monday, May 25. Following this, Tuesday's forecast calls for a 40 percent chance of showers during the day and a high of 17°C; the evening is expected to be clear.

On Wednesday, the forecast calls for a sunny change of pace with a high of 21°C except 25°C inland. The evening is expected to be clear with a low of 12°C. The sunshine isn't expected to continue through the week, with the forecast calling for cloudy skies on Thursday and Friday.

After the cloudy stretch ends, the weekend calls for periods of sunshine. Saturday and Sunday are expected to see a mix of sun and cloud, with highs of 21°C and 20°C respectively.
