Anyone catch Everything's Gone Green on Bravo or Showcase last week? Its Douglas Coupland's first story written for the movies from 2006, directed by Paul Fox, starring Paul Costanzo, Steph Song (who was also in J-Pod). Probably one of the most Couviest movies ever filmed thus far. Always thought Lily Allen's rendition of Everybody's Changing fit the vibe of the movie quite well and funny enough, caught this Coupland quote describing the story on their site: " Everything's Gone Green is about when you get older and you feel certain doors closing very quickly on you. It deals that feeling of now or never." Not sure where you can catch it but its worth a view if you do. Until our version of Boyz in the Hood or Mean Streets is out, this is probably the closest thing....actually, its probably closest to our Garden State.
