Canadian director, Rob Stefaniuk, is currently touring his movie SUCK to festivals. Cast in the film are Alice Cooper, Iggy Pop, Malcolm McDowell, Dave Foley, Henry Rollins, Moby as well as our friend, Talent Time's very own Paul Anthony! I asked Paul about being cast in the role of Tyler, a vampire band member.
He told me that Rob and he became friends after meeting at the Whistler Film Fest when Paul was promoting the Vancouver-made feature film, Eighteen. They became instant buddies and they "liked each other's work and I know he thought I fit the part, but I think what clenched the deal for me is the night he was in town and I took him to HOKO's on Powell for some karaoke. I killed Tootie Fruitie on Rudy by Little Richard and he offered me the part the next night. I will always owe a little bit of that role to that weird downtown eastside karaoke/sushi joint."
