Elisia Seeber, Local Journalism Initiative Reporter

Elisia Seeber, Local Journalism Initiative Reporter

Elisia Seeber is the North Shore News’ Indigenous and civic affairs reporter. The reporting beat is made possible by the Local Journalism Initiative. Before this role, she worked at Glacier Media Group’s sister publications Vancouver Is Awesome and Vancouver Courier as a digital reporter. Hailing from the land Down Under, she moved to Vancouver in 2018 and fell in love with the mountains (and craft beer) and decided to stick around. Her career began in Perth, Western Australia, in 2012, working as a journalist for a community newspaper called the Sound Telegraph. She went on to be the weekend journalist for WA’s statewide Sunday newspaper, The Sunday Times, before moving into the publication’s online team as a digital producer for PerthNow.
