This is just a friendly reminder that the Perseid Meteor Shower hit it's peak last night around Midnight but will continue to dazzle with 60-80 meteors an hour tonight then taper off through the end of August. I personally spent last night with my family up on Mt. Seymour watching the show and hoping to catch a streak of light on my Canon. Alas it was not to be but I did enjoy an incredible natural light show along with dozens of other Vancouverites.
If you have not done so already, this weekend is going to be perfect for viewing. Get out there and check it out. For more details on the show check out this piece in The Straight.
