Today is Dan Winnick Day! Dan was seriously injured in a cycling accident last month, and his (amazing) friends have put together a major fundraiser at the Media Club tonight benefitting him and his family while he recovers.
Doors at 7, and the bands start at 8. Prizes from tons of sponsors, including the Whip, Foundation, Prohab, Anti Social, and Gravity Pope. Dustin and Rich from the Belmont Barber Shop will be cutting hair for $25. Tickets to Pheonix, Scissor Sisters, the Hold Steady, and more will be auctioned off. AND there's performances by Battle Snakes, Carpenter, Dead Voices, the Vicious Cycles, with the Grave Life reuniting for tonight. So if you've ever wanted to win prizes, get your hair did, and listen to local music all while supporting a pretty great guy, tonight's the night.
Meanwhile, the Rock and Roll Pizza Party at the Biltmore is going to be a special "We Love Dan Winnick" edition, with all proceeds also going to the Winnick family.
