Filming for a new comedy in Richmond and Vancouver is set to start this summer.

The film — titled The Best is Yet to Come  is in pre-production work at the moment, but its production location is set to be in Richmond, as posted on CreativeBC's website.

This movie follows two friends, played by Matthew Broderick and Alan Ruck, on a bucket-list road trip after a huge misunderstanding as they try to "repair family relationships and embrace life" at the same time, according to IMDb's website.

Writer Allan Loeb adapted the script from the 2019 French movie of the same name, Le Meilleur Reste à Venir.

Filming is scheduled from Aug. 8 to Sept. 19.
