DiYVR: Shop, Look + Learn with Kids at Collage Collage


There’s that magical moment when a child’s face switches from serious and focused to elated and triumphant. It’s right when they finish making something. They’re so intent, tongue stuck out the side of their mouth, and then BOOM! Finished! Head up, smile shining.

Collage Collage is a shop and studio on E. 15th St. in that awesome little triangle at Fraser. Owner Erin Boniferro is passionate about exploring creativity with children, and about carrying supplies and other goods that adults love, too. Local agency Pike recently produced a video that I think captures the magic Erin fosters:
