One thing I have really enjoyed since I started doing the Daily Flickr Pickr is seeing all the wonderful photographs that you people submit to the VIA Flickr pool. One never really knows what will turn up one day to the next, and that is one of the reasons why I don't like to prepare these posts too far ahead of time - I don't want to miss something special.

Sure enough, such a photograph appeared recently. Lisa Parker has documented the handiwork of a certain castor canadensis in North Vancouver. In the comments below her photo, Lisa mentions that is is a part of her job to keep an eye on this activity, which has been keeping her busy as a beaver. literally.

I could write a bunch of words here, but I think I'll just let the photograph speak for itself.

This. Is. Awesome.
