As I'm writing this post, I can see the mountains out my window, snow-capped on yet another beautiful winter day in Vancouver.
As my luck would have it, we got sunshine and above freezing temperatures on our trip up to Cypress Mountain. This time around, having four people AND gear, we needed a slightly bigger Zipcar, so we picked up a Honda CR-V (named "Coray") which I throughly enjoyed driving up and down the winding road to Cypress (see Leigh's photo below).
For a BEAUTIFUL Sunday on the last weekend of January, the hills weren't too crowded at all... and we definitely took several breaks at the peak of the mountain and on the hills taking in and photographing the views.
