Every day we share a single photo from our Flickr Pool shot by one of our faithful and talented readers (that’s you!).
I've said it before, and I'll say it again - I never know what to expect from you faithful and talented readers when I wade into the flickr pool every day. Sometimes I'll find a photo that will send me to the far corners of the internet, googling-up random bits of information to formulate a post. Or a photo might send me to my bookshelf (or more accurately, boxes labelled 'books'), trying to find the passage that somehow relates to the image that I would like to feature. I find it fun this way, and it also lets me consider the most recent additions to the pool. It is a like a mini-adventure every day.
But other times a I'll see a photo that grabs me on an entirely different level. Today's photo from Laura Eveleigh is just such a photograph. What can I possibly add to Birthday cake on the bicycle?
Not just a photo that documents a wonderful and sincere gesture, but also another example of a re-assigned dairy crate. You have a lucky friend Laura, but I suspect that they already know this.
