In The Playground for the week of April 20-26: Raven Spirit Dance, Easter in Dundarave, Old Fashioned Family Easter at West Point Grey Community Centre, Easter at the Miniature Railway.

After an unscheduled hiatus, The Playground is back. I'm still looking for artwork from your kids, so some pics and send them to theplayground@vancouverisawesome.com. Don't forget to include your child's first name and age.

This Saturday from 3:30-5PM, Dance Allsorts is hosting a workshop with Raven Spirit Dance. "Now's your chance to join Raven Spirit dancers, Daina Ashbee and Julia Carr, with Artistic Director Michelle Olson, who will lead you through warm-up and movement exercises to tap into your inner selves to find outer expression." The workshop is all-ages, but children under 12 need to be accompanied by an adult. Tickets are $5 and you can register with the Roundhouse: 604-713-1800

This weekend is Easter in Dundarave. "Come join the fun as over 12,000 Easter eggs will be handed out." The egg hunt takes place between 11AM-12PM. While you're there, you might be able to catch some sailboats coming in from the Southern Straits Classic.

This Saturday, the West Point Grey Community Centre is hosting their Old Fashioned Family Easter. You'll find a continental breakfast, entertainment, crafts, and egg hunt and the bunny himself. It runs from 10AM-12PM and admission is $6 per person, but you should contact them to make sure you can register: 604-257-8140.

From the 22nd-25th, it's Easter at the Miniature Railway in Stanley Park. Bring your basket between 11AM-4PM because the Easter Bunny will be visiting and egg hunts will be taking place throughout the day.

Have a great Easter with the family!
