So what to do this week? There is a ton going on, making your plans are going to be tough. However, if I had to make some recommendations it would be these.
Thursday night make sure to attend the Found Footage Festival at The Rio Theatre. It is exactly what it sounds like a film festival showcasing footage that has been found in garage sales and thrift stores and in warehouses and dumpsters across the country.
Friday... the Cloverdale Rodeo of course!
Saturday check out the Central Library's Sweet 16 Party. Join the VPL for a fantastic all-ages party with two of city’s sweetest (and hottest) bands, a scrumptious candy buffet, door prizes and tasty treats galore! It's free and all ages are welcome!
Sunday it's Game 4 and the city's clubs or unique venues with large screens are opening their doors and having parties. You can catch the game at Fortune Sound or The Rio Theatre just to name a few.
Tuesday do yourself a favour and check out Titmouse! It's the Canadian Comedy Award winning sketch comedy performers Ian Boothby, Toby Berner, Chris Casillan and Tas VanRassel. Never before have they been brought a sketch show to Vancouver on a regular basis… until now! Titmouse will provide the sketch, Charlie Demers the stand up and Riel Hahn the music comedy, all wrapped up in the end with an improv comedy jam.
