For a while now I've been trying to put my finger on exactly why it is that myself and so many of my peers, friends, colleagues, etc absolutely love Creative Mornings, Pecha Kucha, Rain City Chronicles and what seems like a recent surge of other in-real-life events that mostly bring together "a heady mix of creativity and humanitarian causes".

Luckily for me (and for you) I've managed to make friends with folks who are much more intelligent and thoughtful than myself.
