The first two days of Olio Festival have already come and gone. We hope you are limbered up and primed for the onslaught of weekend events, because Olio's latter half is about the get off-the-charts awesome! Amidst the slew of concerts, performances, and more, may we take some of the guess work out of your day and recommend Brasstronaut, tomorrow night at the Rickshaw Theatre?

Jazzed from a stellar performance at last weekend's Rifflandia Festival in Victoria, the Vancouver orchestral-pop sextet will play their first show in Vancouver since they sold out the Rio Theatre in June. And if you want to see these guys, now is the time—they'll be Europe-bound in about a month to spread the sweet sounds of their latest full-length, Mean Sun, to the rest of the world.

The show kicks off at 9 p.m. with Aunts & Uncles, followed by the Jon Cohen Experimental at 10 p.m., and Brasstronaut at 11:30 p.m. If their last Vancouver performance is any indicator, you'll want to arrive early.

Have a listen and look at "Requiem for a Scene" from their Old World Lies EP here, and we'll see you there!
