Earlier this week I SHARED the news that Student Energy was bringing together the president of Enbridge/Northern Gateway, John Carruthers, noted environmentalist Tzeporah Berman and the executive director of the Coastal First Nations, Art Sterritt, for a debate. Pipelines are an issue that’s front of mind for many Vancouverites and aren’t something that we cover often but it’s pretty awesome that these 3 voices were brought together for the first time EVER to present their cases and debate. This well-balanced debate happened last night and you can listen to it in its entirety below.

The timing couldn’t have been better for this to come out as the GLOBE conference launched in Vancouver today. Over the next 3 days some world leaders will be discussing the future of energy, business, people and the environment in this province and the world. Learn all about it at globeseries.com.
