Sole Food Farms Dreams Big for Local Food

What do you know about Sole Food Farms?

Sole Food Farms has a dream to double Vancouver’s local food production AND make organic food more affordable!

Their plan is to open a pay-what-you-can organic veggie stand on the corner of Main St. and Terminal Ave. as well as a stall in the Granville Island Public Market and they’re crowdfunding to make that happen.

Sole Food has just announced that they’ll be extending their campaign until July 1st.  They’ll also be giving away $100 gift certificate to Farmer’s Apprentice restaurant (you know, the one everyone’s raving about) to the person who refers the most traffic to their campaign page. If you, too, think all this sounds like a great idea, help them on their journey.

Want to win that Farmer’s Apprentice gift card? It’s easy, just use Indiegogo’s social sharing features to refer Sole Food’s campaign page to your friends, colleagues and neighbours. The website will automatically catalogue your referrals and the winner will be announced on July 1st when the campaign ends.

Don’t hesitate to donate either. You get money back in food, invites to elegant harvest dinners on the farm, or sweet Sole Food swag.

Happy sharing!
