Vancouver on the Cheap: Shishinori Breakfast

If you were to create a Venn diagram where one circle was labeled “cheap” and the other labeled “awesome”, the middle point where they cross over could be labeled “Vancouver on the Cheap”. Here’s a basic cheap-living tip for you: pay attention to the signs! And by signs, I mean the sandwich boards and other notices restaurants put out advertising their deals. Like this one – $7 for breakfast at Shishinori (which I’m pretty sure is a fairly new restaurant on Cambie, I’ve never noticed it before). This ain’t your usual discount breakfast, either: smoked wild salmon, eggs benny, salad, and a loose leaf tea? Yes, please! And look at how cute their outdoor seating is? Definitely worth checking out.
