CreativeMornings/Vancouver is excited to introduce Terry McBride as our next speaker for May on the theme of Serendipity. The CEO and co-founder of Nettwerk Music Group, Terry had humble beginnings for Canada’s largest independent record label, artist management, and music publishing company, starting the company from his own apartment in 1984. With corporate offices worldwide in Vancouver, London, Hamburg, Boston, Los Angeles, and New York, Nettwerk has released over 700 different albums and sold over 170 million albums worldwide with artists such a Coldplay, Fun, Mike Posner, Passenger, Dido, and Sarah McLachlan. We’re so excited to have Terry come talk to us about the theme Serendipity and how creativity played into his work.
Not only does Terry run Canada’s largest independent record label, artist management, and music publishing company, he also co-founded a well-known chain of wellness centres called YYoga and Fitness. Terry’s vision for YYoga Studios is to evolve into social third spaces which focuses on health, fitness, and wellness for the mind, body, spirit, and community. We’re sure he’ll have many thoughts on how Serendipity played into his life, helping him to achieve the success he’s experienced.
