The Haunted Saloon is Vancouver’s only Halloween film fest


Vancouver’s only Halloween short film festival will be scaring movie fans out of their seats at the Rio Theatre this October with the return of East Van Showcase’s Haunted Saloon.

On October 22, the Rio Theatre will screen 10 Halloween/horror shorts by 10 local filmmakers vying for three prizes.

To get right into the action, the event will include the Virtual Reality Lounge as well as a costume contest.

Tickets to this 19+ event are $9 in advance via Eventbrite, or $12 at the door. Doors are at 6:15 pm and the show starts at 6:45 pm.
