Downtown Vancouver’s only outdoor ice rink launches free skating soon

Sure, we are just nudging our way into November, but with some flurries already on the books and thoughts of winter fun already swirling, it’s time to think about one of Vancouver’s favourite things: Free ice skating at Robson Square.

Downtown Vancouver’s only outdoor ice skating rink will operate this winter from December 1, 2017 until the end of February, 2018.

And the best part: It’s free!

If you don’t have your own blades, you can rent ice skates from the cash-only stand on site. They’ll close down skate rentals 30 minutes ahead of rink closing time.

The Robson Square Ice Rink is open Sunday to Thursday from 9 am to 9 pm and Friday and Saturday from 9 am to 11 pm.
