Shake those November blues with visit to Jamaica...without leaving Vancouver.

At least that's the goal of the Feel the Vibe Jamaica Pop Up Shop, a free event which runs November 16 to 19 in Yaletown.

Put on by The Jamaica Tourist Board, who have teamed up with Vancouver's Arrival Agency, this event will find 1263 Homer Street turned into a lively "mini Jamaica," complete with a beach.

"The Jamaica Pop Up Shop will allow guests to Feel the Vibe of our island and fall in love with the destination before booking their vacation," said Philip Rose, the Jamaica Tourist Board’s Regional Director in Canada, in a release.

On site, the island-curious will find everything from Jamaican patties and Red Stripe beer to live music (think dancehall and reggae), and reps from Sunwing who can talk about the new flights from YVR they've just added--in case you are really inspired to make your Jamaican getaway the real deal--and you can enter into a contest there to win a trip, too.
