Shen Yun

Shen Yun Performing Arts is returning to Vancouver for the 12th year in a row! The performance is an impressive combination of classical Chinese dance, gorgeous orchestral works, brilliant costumes, and innovative stage craft, which has performed to sold-out crowds all over the world.

Shen Yun is more than just a celebration of Chinese culture, it’s powerful reclamation of what’s been lost. In China, traditional Chinese culture has been displaced by communism. Shen Yun is one of the only touring acts fighting to keep their precious heritage alive and on world stage.

Shen Yun came into being in 2006 when group of leading Chinese artists living overseas decided to showcase China’s unique 5,000-year-old artistic heritage in a way that can be universally understood—through music and dance.

The result is a big, bold and beautiful depiction of stories and legends that span China's history, from the Yellow Emperor through the Tang and Song dynasties and all the way to the modern day. Ethnic and folk dances from across China as well as Mongolia and Tibet are also part of the show.

Great news! Due to popular demand, Shen Yun has added a fifth show to its Vancouver run. The extra show will play on Sunday March 25 at 7:00 p.m.

For a limited time, you can also get a free single-day ticket to the Luxury Home & Design Show (LHDS) when you purchase two Shen Yun orchestra level tickets. To learn more, visit LHDS HERE.
