This week marks the end of February, and what a week it will be. With the Winter going away slowly, the sun has decided to show up and brighten our beautiful city once more, so don’t waste the week staying in, go out there and see what Vancouver has to showcase, and to make your lives easier, we have an amazing list of all the best events happening this week. From, funky psychedelic rock to the hilarious comedy showcases of the JFL Festival, you can bet that whatever mood you are in there is something out there just for you.
Kicking off the week we have a high energy showcase of some of the best Rock n Roll Vancouver has to offer, from the amazing alternative, punk rock band Bully, who will be jamming at Biltmore, to the mesmerizing and spectacular Starset, who have a reputation for broadcasting really amazing cinematic rock full of dramatic intents and personal ticks.

Monday nights at Mt Seymor just got better, Ladies you can now snowboard or ski in the evening for a small donation of $15 with 50% going towards the bloom group, but if you are looking for a more quiet night in then, check out Alita Dupray, who’s voice is as seductive as it is beautiful.

Movie Night Tuesday's
This Tuesday the Rio theatre has two incredible Oscar nominated features that you cannot miss, the first is the heart breaking yet, emotionally enriching, “Call Me By Your Name”, a story of love and loss, told in the most compassionate way possible, and the next is a hilarious and charming documentary called “Faces Places”, exploring the experiences that the filmmakers went through during their road trip across France.

Pop and Lock Wednesday's
This Wednesday we have two incredible hip hop and pop icons performing in Vancouver, the first is Ty Dolla Sign who is best known for mixing rap with contemporary R&B, and the second is the truly amazing Shamir, while not strictly a pop artist, his style incorporates parts of the genre, all the while making you smile from ear to ear with his infectiously happy melodies and lyrics.
