The days are getting longer, the nights are warming up and with the change in seasons comes the return of the annual Richmond Night Market.
From May 11 to Oct. 8, night market-goers can travel to a tropical paradise without leaving Richmond. This year’s Hawaiian theme will include a new summer seafood festival with at least three types of crab, lobster and more. Also this year, visitors have the chance to win a seven-night trip for two to Hawaii including the flight and accommodation.
As always, the international food fair will offer over five hundred dishes including new options like a Brazilian pastry, nitrogen ice cream balls and pineapple and watermelon juice in the shell.
Beyond the food stalls, there are vendors, inflatable games, paddle boats and an inflatable obstacle course.
Tickets are $4.25 per person, or $25 for six with a line-up bypass. Come to the market on your birthday for free admission when you show your ID.
