So here’s a video of some kids hand-feeding bears out of their home on the North Shore

Global has dug up a ridiculous video showing children on the North Shore feeding a blear bear and its cub out of their home. Crackers, french fries… you know, bear food.

One of the children is shown trying to pet the cub’s head and it playfully bats at her.

It would be super cute if it weren’t the worst thing you could possibly do for these animals, aside from offering some sort of slower death than a Conservation Officer having to put them down because they kept poking around you and your neighbours’ backyard searching for food it has become accustomed to receiving. As most people know, a fed bear is a dead bear.
