Over 40,000 people will flood downtown Vancouver to see Beyonce and Jay Z tonight

With that in mind, the turnout for tonight's Beyonce and Jay Z concert at BC Place is expected to be enormous. In fact, the venue expects that upwards of 40,000 will turn up to catch the show.

There are regular fans, and then there's the "Beyhive."

Indeed, Beyonce's presence turns people out in droves. She is one of the most iconic songstresses of this generation, and fans will go to great lengths to catch a glimpse of Queen Bey in all her fierce glory.

And while Jay Z may not be as popular as he once was, he can certainly draw a sizeable crowd, too. After all, he is one of the best selling hip hop artists of all time.

With that in mind, the turnout for tonight's concert at BC Place is expected to be enormous. In fact, the venue expects that upwards of 40,000 will turn up to catch the show. As a result, there will be a great deal of foot and vehicle traffic in the downtown core.

Doors open at 5:30 pm, but the show starts at 7:30 pm. With that being said,  guests are being encouraged to arrive early, and therefore the madness will ensue much earlier than when the doors open.

All gates are available for entry, but the venue advises that Gates A, B, C and H are busy high-traffic areas.

Gates D, E, F and G are recommended for fastest entry.
