Back for its 14th year, Taste of Yaletown is when neighbourhood restaurants offer up special menus and dishes for a nearly two-week stretch to inspire new and longstanding diners to get out and eat.
Taking place from October 18 to 28, 2018, Taste of Yaletown (TOY) boasts 25 participating restaurants this year.

During this fun time, the restaurants will offer innovative pairings, and special menus at set prices of $25, $35, and $45.
On the list: Lots of Yaletown favourites like Brix and Mortar, WildTale, Bistro Sakana, The Parlour, Flying Pig, and many more. You'll also spot newcomers on the roster, like the Korean fusion spot Milssan Tacorea, and the upscale White Lounge.
"Taste of Yaletown is a longstanding community event, connecting people over exquisite culinary dishes,” states Annette O’Shea, Executive Director of the Yaletown Business Improvement Association (YBIA) in a media release.

"This year is all about making connections and showing how food brings people together, whether as couples, friends or family. The event showcases our local chef’s talents and allows the community to come out and experience some of Vancouver’s top restaurants and immerse themselves in their unique experiences," adds O'Shea.
The YBIA is dedicated to supporting business in the neighbourhood, but also committed to giving back to the community. For the 14th year in a row, Yaletown will be making a donation to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank. Taste of Yaletown has raised over $115,000 in efforts to support the local community since the event began in 2004.
