This November the Vancouver Convention Centre will transform with holiday cheer for the annual Circle Craft Christmas Market.

From November 7th - 11th, the market displays work from over 300 artisans that hail from big cities and small communities across Canada.

“Farmhouse Christmas,”is the theme of this year's market, which is meant to invoke old-school simplicity, rustic charm, the countryside and nature, as well as artisan craftsmanship.

Of the 300 artisans, over 70 of them are new additions to the annual affair. What's more, the expansive event includes clothing designers, potters, wood and metal workers, glass blowers, jewellers, toy makers, candle and soap makers, and more!

The Campaign for Wool also coincides with Circle Craft Market, and is a global endeavour initiated by its patron, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales. Its goal is to raise awareness amongst consumers about the unique, natural, and sustainable benefits offered by wool. FernWeftFibreArt, DutchyMitts, Wee Woollies, Natural Wool Knits, and Susan Savill Designs all use wool in their products.

The event attracts over 40,000 people each year, and provides guests with the opportunity to discover a range of highly skilled craftspeople.

In addition, visitors may explore craft technique demos, such as a pottery wheel and dress painting by Lennard Taylor Design Studio, contests, and the "Budding Artists" open area where emerging artists will introduce exciting and innovative new world.
