Santa Claus is coming to town this Saturday, December 15 on the West Coast Express Santa Train.
TransLink runs the event to benefit community toy bureaus, and invites you to come help make the season brighter for kids in your community.
In order to help, bring along a new, unwrapped toy donation, which should be similar in value to a West Coast Express Ticket, and your gift will go to the station's local Christmas Bureau. The gift is a great way to give back, and it will get your friends and family a round trip ticket.
The festive train departs Mission City at 10 am and stops at all WCE stations along the way. Once in Vancouver, you can enjoy a day of holiday sights and sounds before returning home from Waterfront Station at 4 p.m.

What's more, there will be a North Pole Station set up at Waterfront Station that will offer holiday activities and a festive photo opportunity with Father Christmas himself. The station will be open at 2:45 pm and you may sample a delicious sip of eggnog courtesy of Dairyland while you wait for your turn with Santa.
TransLink is also setting up a pop-up shop at the station from December 13 - 15, which will offer an array of transit swag that is perfect for a holiday gift or a gift to yourself.
On Monday, Dec. 3, TransLink made the first wearable payment option available to Lower Mainland riders, the Compass Wristband. The transit authority announced that they were offering 1,000 blue adult wristbands and 1,000 orange concession wristbands in order to gauge public interest in the product; however, they completely sold out the wristbands by 9:30 am that morning.
