A coffee shop and bakery that's totally free of animal products in Vancouver? Well that's a bonus. Literally. That's because the city's newest fully plant based bakeshop and cafe is called Bonus Bakery, and they've been open for just a few weeks.

Situated on Georgia at Bute, Bonus Bakery is focused on a rotating menu of house-made baked goods, like cinnamon buns, muffins, scones, and pizza buns, an array of cookies, as well as a meatless "Chicken and Waffles" dish that has become an instant Instagram darling.
Bonus Bakery also has coffee drink program, all done with plant-based products. They use a variety of non-dairy beverages for their coffees, but you won't find any cow's milk on the menu.

There's limited seating inside the shop, and of course you can always grab your almond milk latte and lemon blueberry scone to-go. So far, Bonus Bakery has been keeping their hours limited to Monday through Friday during the daytime only; follow them on Instagram to keep up to date on changes in hours.
